Temperatures and weather can have a big impact on fuel economy. So knowing where a poster is helps in trouble shooting any low fuel economy questions. it doesn't need to be exact. Just more precise than the country.
Which brings up the reason for this post. I entered my location as Eastern Pa. That's what is says in my profile, and what was stated in the mini profile next to forum postings on Gassavers. I just noticed on Fuelly it just says the country, United States.
Could we have the more precise location, assuming one is entered by the user, back on the forum posts?
Good point, im in the UK, which is a small place compared with the US, but there quite a few countries that make up the UK. In southern England its pretty warm now, but in Scotland, they have 113 MPH winds and several feet of snow! Big difference
