Partial Fill

There is a thread a little further down that deals with partial fills and the fact that partial fills are not used in calculation of MPG's

The thread is now labelled as 'working as designed' but surely this must be a mistake?

Why can you not just add the last few partial refills and add the fuel and miles for those partials to the most recent full tank of fuel/miles and then do the calculation?

I often cant fill my tank because of a $100 max due to gasstation limitations.

I only just found out that the partial fills are not used in the calculation so I am very dissappointed to find out that this is considered acceptable or 'as designed'

Could FUELLY please reconsider this matter?

As I understand it from chatting with the programmers, no calculation for that particular fill is made, but the partial fill data is used for the cumulative "lifetime" average. I have encountered the max dollar limit a few times on my pickup truck. The pump stops, I print a receipt, then I put my credit card back in, and start pumping again. I add the two receipts together when I enter them, because it would only be one fill if it were not for the limitations of the station's equipment.
