Option for km/L

Could we get an option for km/Litre if it is not too much of a hassle? It mirrors mpg more closely than L/100km.

You're about the third to make this request. I made the request a few months ago.

I'm pretty sure we're going to stick with L/100km, since that's a worldwide standard much in the same way mpg is to Americans. While it might be interesting to know what km/L is (you can get it from a quick google conversion) for the sake of curiosity, that figure isn't in common use anywhere, so it's not going to be very useful.

I prefer to keep the L/100km calculation. If I see a 6.4 L/100km figure it means something to me but a km/litre figure would not.

I guess it's what your are used to.

I'm starting to learn both methods (km/litre and liters/100km).

The one thing I'm trying to adapt to is for the L/100km factor is that the LOWER the number the better your mileage actually is, but for the liter/km, the BIGGER number the better. Must have been a golfer to figure out that a lower number is better for car mileage. {smirk}
