Notes field privacy?

Is it possible to have the option to make the Notes field private?

I appreciate that Fuelly is intended to be open, however I would like the option to hide the Notes field for my fill ups.
I like to record where I filled up, where I was going etc, however I'd prefer it if that data wasn't public?

No, I'm sorry, we're going to keep everything public here at Fuelly. There are other services that provide private mileage tracking like MyMileMarker so that might be a better fit. Sharing results is one of the primary aspects of Fuelly, and we don't want there to be any confusion about what is shared and what isn't because everything is shared.

That said, there's no obligation to use your real name or link to Fuelly from other places on the Web where you use your real name. So it is possible to use the site somewhat anonymously.
