My Car Missing From Browse Vehicles

My Car "OctyvRs" is not shown in Browse Vehicles. I have 9 Fuel Ups but I have set a new "type" of Octavia Vrs, is that the problem ?

Yep, we approve new vehicle models by hand, to make sure they stay somewhat tidy, so we haven't gotten around to approving your new model.

We have this in the FAQ too: Why isn't my car listed in the Browse Vehicles section of the site?

We tend to ask ourselves one question in cases like this: is this a new distinct model, or is this a trim level? We don't want to approve slight variations like LX vs. EX versions of a model. So we use google to try to find the answer. One metric we use (right or wrong) is whether or not the new potential model has its own wikipedia entry. In this case, Skoda Octavia has its own entry, but the Skoda Octavia Vrs does not. From reading the article, it looks like the Vrs is identical except for a slightly different engine. I'm not sure it warrants its own branch, but it's not a bright line one way or the other in this case.

It's quite a significant increase in power output compared to others in the range and much modified "sportier" suspension. I notice that here are separate entries for Fabia and Fabia Vrs which have similar differences in the model range below.

I joined last month and have just posted my second fill up. My 2006 ford mondeo diesel estate does not appear when I browse vehicles; have I made a mistake in my profile settings that prevents it being visible?

We only show cars with three or more fuel-ups in public lists. We've found that average MPG is either very high or very low until at least three. It's all in the FAQ: Why isn't my car listed in the Browse Vehicles section of the site?
