Hi,
I realise the world consists of the USA (with a slight nod given to Canada and Mexico)
, but seriously, after several years of use, Fuelly still doesn't support multiple currencies. As in, multiple currencies used for the same account/vehicle.
People do take their vehicles into other countries from time to time, and pay in those currencies. Yes I can calculate roughly what the price would've been in my "home" currency, but that's not going to be exact (exchange rates fluctuate daily, then there's foreign transaction fees, etc etc). Furthermore I actually have money which was earned in that other country, so it has no relation whatsoever to my home country. Finally, it'd be nice to go back to historic records and see how much petrol was in another country for future trip budgeting purposes.
Shouldn't be difficult - simply add a column stating the currency the fuel was paid in (defaults to the last currency used), and optionally another column either giving the exchange rate, or the home-currency equivalent amount. Populate it by giving every record the home currency of the user.
Thanks for your consideration,
- Micha.
