The Suzuki DL650 V-Strom motorcycles are a bit of a mess.
Currently - this motorcycle is broken into four groups ....
DL 650 (2) 2010 and 2014
DL650 V-Strom (265) 2004 to 2011 and 2014
DL650A V-Strom ABS (130) 2007 to 2013
DL650A V-Strom ABS Adventure (11) 2012 to 2013
The "A" in DL650A designates a model with ABS which was optional on some models years but became standard on second generation 2012+ model years as well as for US bikes in 2011. The "Adventure" is a 2012+ DL650A with an OEM package of extra equipment. The V-Strom 650 can be divided into two generations with the first generation being model years 2004-2011 and the second generation being model years 2012+.
I would recommend combining all of the V-Strom 650 bikes into one model "V-Strom 650" (2004+) and three submodels; base DL650 (2004+), ABS DL650A (2007+), and DL650A Adventure (2012+).
I would note that currently model year 2014 is not available in the two current groups that actually make sense and is available in the two that do not make sense.
At a minimum, the model "DL 650" should be removed, and model year 2014 should be deleted from "DL650 V-Strom" and added to both "DL650A V-Strom ABS" and "DL650A V-Strom ABS Adventure."

HansonMoto,
Thanks for the tip. Our next project is to 'clean-up' the duplicates/incorrect model names/typos/etc. Info like this is very helpful!

Hi
I am trying to register my Peugeot Metropolis 400 motor scooter but the motorcycle form keeps saying "not found"
How do I register it?
Thanks

This is likely because our database hasn't added that particular model for 2015 yet. We get monthly updates. I see you've added it under "Other". This is fine. It will likely get updated once we receive the updated database.

The suzuki dr section is a little incorrect also. It would be simpler instead of having multile models that are the same bike as one. currently you have
dr650
dr650se
dr650s
dr 650
If you were to simply combine all the dr650 classes together it would solve alot of confusion. ALthough there are dr650s and dr650se since neither one was sold at the same time it would be simpler have one dr650 category.

Missing Motorcycle:
KTM RC125
And perhaps all YZF-R125 (all years) may be merged.
Thanks.

There are 19 Honda Hawk GT's, and 8 NT650 Hawk GT's.
All 27 motorcycles are Honda NT650 Hawk GT's !
Also, there are 2 Honda Bros 650's - the model designation for these is also NT650 !
I have both a 1988 NT650J Bros and a 1989 NT650K Hawk GT, and suggest combining all three groups into one called 'NT650 Bros / Hawk GT'.
Thanks.
