I started on Fuelly with a few thousand miles on my truck. Consequently, it showed 160+ mpg for the first fill up. Now, courtesy of someone else using the truck and my own carelessness, I am missing another. It shows 35+ mpg.
OK, not the end of the world. It will take some time to "correct" the average.
Is there any way to "start over", or reset at zero, so that going forward I have accurate info?
Yea your figures are way off, your first fuel up shows as nearly 200 MPG for me, with over 3000 miles on a single tank of fuel. I would use the trip odometer method of tracking, as you track fuel usage on a tank by tank, mile by mile basis, doesn't matter if you miss a fuel up, or miss ten fuel ups even. Your figures will screw all the other users data too.
