Mini Stats > What is a "Month"?

I think I know the answer, but would like verification from a Developer.

Are the mini stat months calculated from the current date? Ie, the "last month" is actually the last 30 days, and the "last 3 months" actually the last 90 days, etc?

If this is the case, would you please consider adding a "Current Month" mini stat that includes 1st to last day of the current month? This would be helpful to people that keep track of monthly mileage for expense accounting and tax purposes.

If you are keeping records for tax and/or expense accounting, you will need to keep records on your own system, whether paper or computer. Sites like this one are likely to be of no legal use.
