maybe the first time you put it in, type the units after the number? I dunno.

i don't think it's possible at the moment to enter metric data, and i can imagine it would require some codeing work too implement.
i'm in the metric system as wel though and it is a bit of work coverting everything every time, so it would be nice if the computer would do that for me.
also more advanced features like linking the price (in the right curency) to the amount of fuel used would be nice. or haveing l/100km and mpg displayed side by side...
this would also enable everyone to directly compare cars listed here to fuel consumption figures of any car worldwide.
anyway, i'm very happy with the site and the gasslog as it is, and much respect to the people who keep it in such a fine state,
but of course there's always room for improvement.
btw showing both l/100km and mpg in the cars "tag" or whatever it's called, is much appreciated already! so thanks for that feature.
btw people looking for a way to convert units... try typing it directly in google like "5 liter to us gallon" or "6l/100km to mpg" it will show you the results right away! very handy
This is something Matt was working on - you may want to send him a PM and let him know you're interested in it. I know that when I was driving the Beat, I was beta testing it for him. I was able to enter metric distance but US volume.
I've made an online calculator just for this specific purpose. Just enter your metric units and click calculate, then copy and paste everything to the gaslog.
