Yeah, we've been working with a developer on putting something together. No timeline yet, but we need to put some fairly big pieces of infrastructure together to make it happen. We're working on a public API as part of the project too.
Fuelly isn't our full time gig, so we can't go as fast as we'd like.

Fuelly Mobile is a great option and is a quick easy solution to the mobile market.
Being a developer myself I understand working on side projects. I'm actually working on a site right now that links to Fuelly as a top resource. Hopefully I can send you some more traffic.
A iPhone app would be cool, although the mobile web site works pretty well. An app would be just a bit quicker to get started on data entry.
And thanks for making the mobile web site use the chromeless browser mode instead of a tab in Safari. Really, the only thing that (mildly) annoys me is it keeps asking about using my location.
