Arrow I know this sounds like a stupid question but...

How often does the 90 day running average on the gaslogs update? My first 2 fillups in The Beast on 6/15 and 6/16 should have dropped off by now, but my lifetime economy and 90 day average are still the same. I haven't disected it - maybe there is an off chance that the numbers calculate to exactly the same but I think that's a very slim chance.

I have wondered the same thing- my guess is that its only when we add a new entry that the system recalculates and the 90+ day old entries aren't factored in anymore.

I thought of that as well, but what happens if I park the vehicle and don't drive it for an extended period of time? Eventually the 90 day average should fall to zero, right?

mine only changes when I add a new gas log entry. I do fill up about weekly though.

there may also be a threshold time as far as if you haven't inputed a gas log in a while so that your numbers aren't in the top ten (they use the 90 day for that) if you haven't filled up in a year.

Ok. I've had the truck parked most of the past week because I'm trying to make my relatively "cheap" gas in the tank ($3.389) last until prices fall again. I probably won't need gas again until next week sometime.

Here's one which hasn't had any gaslog activity since February, yet it still shows a 90 day average...

I think that's a bit excessive. A vehicle that hasn't been fueled up in 7 months should not have a 90 day average.

I'm sure it's just coding trade off. Updating 90day during gas entry and storing a flat calculated value in the DB is fastest.

If it was me I'd have a job run every night (like 4am EST or something) to recalculate all 90 days averages every night.
