It looks at the date that YOU enter for your fillup, not the date that you enter it into the gaslog. As I mentioned in the other post the 90 day average and the overall MPG average is (or should be) calc'd each time an entry is added as well as once a night.

OK so currently my 60.75 comes from the nine tanks from 3/11/06 to 5/27/06. So when I post my next tank in a day or two, I will still have the 3/11 tank at 54 MPG weighing me down.

True, but it won't dissappear until I add another tank, right? Or does that overnight update take care of that?
