Fuelly won't calculate large kilometer fillups.

I drive an electric Volt and during warmer months I will go several thousand kilometers between gas fill-ups since the gas engine is only used when the battery is drained. I was entering data from 2017 including a 7 month and 11,000km between fillups (29L of gas) but there was no L/100km rating and the stats look incomplete. Is there a limitation with Fuelly and long KMs between fillups?

If you have OnStar or if you don't mind paying a monthly fee, GM has this perfect website called Volt Stats that takes into account your electricity usage as well. Tracking you car here is kind of meaningless since it doesn't take into account your electricity consumption.

I used to use voltstats but it stopped working for Canadian cars some time ago. They probably fixed the issue now but I like Fuelly as it keeps track of what I do spend on gas so I can export during tax time.

I have a Volt as well so I would love to see this limit increased.

I have used Volt Stats as well, but use Fuelly for all my vehicles so it is nice to just have it in one place. I know it isn't a true measure of energy used, but it is nice to have the info available.

The odd thing is that on the app, the graph of fill-ups the high MPG is displayed, and in the list of fill-ups, but on the web page they are not in the graph and in the list they are blank. It is not calculated into the lifetime MPG on either the app or the web page.

In return for the free tracking service, Fuelly gets to use your data in the sites main goal of being a place for people to research a model's fuel economy. Results that skew that lowers the site's value.

The simple solution would be for them to not allow PHEVs and other bi-fuel cars until the system is set up for monitoring the two fuel types for one car.
