Would love to see a more robust filter feature on Fuelly. Say I would like to compare my MPG to my car over the 3 years worth of the same model. Or like today when I wanted to compare my car to others who do primarily city driving.
Its kind of annoying to have to look at 50 different profile/cars before you find one that fits the criteria then repeat the process to compare to another.
Thanks for the suggestion. I agree, I think we could have more filtering options too. It's not something that's easy to build—so we probably won't have something in the near term. But we'll keep it in mind.
I will be looking forward to it. It will actually help consumers get a better grasp of what real world MPG will be like for the cars they are shopping for.
I asked the same question as Sonata77 "Filters please"on October 22. It really devalues the value of your data by not having a simple filter for city vs highway driving. The difference in fuel consumption between city and highway are very significant as witnessed by the EPA standard and the averages you show make little sense. Please in this day and age it doesnt sound like rocket science to add a simple filter
nevertheless its a great site! There arent many similar cars to my Honda Jazz hybrid car so I know those who are City only drivers like me and can compare to them. I'm not sure the other 82,600 users on your site would agree with you though
This would be very valuable. Instead of you trying to support all the different requests you're going to get maybe you could give us a way to download the selected data in a CSV file or equivalent that we could import into Excel and do our own filtering?
