Changing cars to same car

I'm trading my 22 Escape SE for a 22 Escape SE with several packages on it adding many features I don't have. So the only thing changing is the odometer reading for fillups. So, can I just keep my current entry and somehow change the odometer reading to work or do I have to cancel this car and create an entire new one? Thanks for any input and assistance.

Personally I'd add it as a different vehicle because that's exactly what it is. In the past, I've bought three identical cars in a row, each had thier own characteristics despite being identical. A cars economy can vary a lot, depends how it's been driven previously, serviced/maintained and what features it has which can use energy and add weight.

I agree. If this car has better or worse fuel figures the numbers already in the system will skew the results.

Thanks. I sort of figured that but thought I'd check. Yes, it could skew the overall average although that would gradually diminish over time I guess. If I make the trade I'll set up a new entry.

Well, it turned out the dealer was a typical lie, bait and switch dealer so I went back to my original dealer and bought a 2023 that literally came off the truck as I was driving there. I retired the other and set it up new. I got my baseline in when I bought the 0.7 gallons to fill the tank at 31 miles on the odo.

In the UK it is known as the Kuga.

I've seen the Kuga name in various references. I'm not sure what that name suggests, if anything. Escape obviously suggests getting away which isn't a bad idea, especially if it's to a good BBQ or burger place.

As its baby brother is a Puma I assume Kuga is Ford's take on Cougar. As Cougar was used by Ford, for a coupe, between 1998 and 2004, the change is probably to avoid confusion.
You are welcome to your BBQ. Afraid they do nothing for me.

It's hard to pass up some good ribs and sides. We had a Mercury Cougar for a while in the 80's-90's. I really liked it. Wish I had it back.

Totally different breed altogether. You wouldn't want a Ford Cougar although I see it was also sold in the States as a Mercury Cougar.
