Wow, while displaying the Beat on the GT campus today (to ramp up enthusiasm about tomorrow's car show) a guy from Tesla stopped by to gawk at the Beat. He said he'd be at the car show tomorrow, but sadly, without a Tesla Roadster.
hmmm, I wonder if Lithium iron phosphate batteries instead of lithium ion batterries in the tesla would get a longer range, considering they're more stable (no cooling system) and lighter, but have less energy density?
Tesla contacted our company to see if we could "test" their motor to destruction , but it didn't pan out . They probably found someone closer to Cali to do it.
