sweeeeeet. Where can I buy solar?....better yet will they pay me to put it on my land...oh wait, people want to do that for our town, but wind, and people are so stubborn and useless that they think wind energy is bad.

nice find, I hope those people can generate a few customers.

When we drove from Southern California to Arizona recently we went through this GIANT wind farm in california. It was just massive... it went on for miles and miles. Now I wish I'd taken a picture.

alt energy

I dont know why we dont use our land for alt. energy sources, to me its just sitting there with nothing to do....there are two windfarms within 3 hours of my house. I dont know when I can get the time to go over there, but I want to do it before the next meeting my family has, so I can prove to them once and for all its not going to alter their sleeping habits or other bull that they have been told.

Neat commercial. Made me afraid of batteries though.

That must've been the San Gregorio pass, nine outa ten hours it's running. Cheap, clean, and very cool looking. I swear that I can pick up an extra mpg if I go up it when there's no wind and down it when there is!
A few months ago they had floodlights set up at night for some kind of photo shoot or something, it looked so awesome, I just wish I had my camera on me.

I'm with you. I think wind turbines are wonderful to look at. I wouldn't oppose them sprouting up in my view (not that I have one).

Why waste perfectly good land, when you can put solar cells on the top of things (rooftops, the top of cars, etc)?

IMHO the space on top of things really is "going to waste", whereas land has other useful purposes (such as growing things on)...

around here....we have oil wells,

Around my town, we have oil wells and ranchers, its definately going to waste. People just don't care around here. I am just tired of the propoganda around my little town honestly. The Windfarm is coming, and the realtor can't stop them!
