My brother has a 2014 320D Tourer xDrive, and it is a beautiful car. But despite a full BMW service history and low mileage, it is a money pit. Every service costs a fortune, and any repairs are exorbitant. A set of tyres cost more than I paid for my Honda Jazz.
I had an M3 before that, and it was even worse. His wife's Ford Focus Ecoboost Titanium does everything the BMW does (his words), but he likes his Beemer. And, unlike me, he can afford to run it.
