it seems as tho the republicans aren't the only ones w/interests in big oil!
is this an isolated case?...certainly not
is it a vote of support for his apponent(s)?...no
is it hypocritical?...ABSOLUTELY!
lobbying aside, if it was purely an investment, i'd be okay w/ it. profit is NOT a bad thing.

There really isn't much doubt as to whether or not anthropomorphic emissions contribute to an increase in the amount of energy trapped in the Earth's atmosphere via a change in the EM opacity of the atmosphere, and this has been verified time and time again in the lab. The only thing left to figure out is how exactly the climate will change due to more energy being added to it which is where most of the research is. In other words, there isn't much debate as to whether or not we will impact the climate, the debate now is how we will.

Oh, and btw, I sold something for $5 that I got for free, so my profit margins are through the roof. When people state oil companies are making excessive profit, they don't just mean margins, they mean everything. Sure, my profit margins may be infinite from something I got for free and sold for $5, but I still only made $5, while the oil companies have made the most cash ev4r.

perhaps you should claim that on your taxes or at least ask for $2.50 less of your return!
that is what anti-capitalists seek is it not? 50% or more?

Government did too.
But they are a poor investment as they are neither equitable nor efficient.

Oil companies tend to be efficient, but not equitable. Either way, unless yer getting a cut of that pie, it probably isn't good for ya.
