The 50s and early 60s left a lot to be desired with obvious exceptions. I like the Pontiac Benneville. Mind you, all it needs are mooring ropes and rope fenders!
This one was supposed to be the world's best when it sold for $121,000 in 2012. I wonder what it is worth now.

I HAD ONLY ONE 70'S CAR - AND IT WAS NOT AMERICAN.

..............BUT I DID HAVE A '69 CORVETTE (MADE 3/70).

IT WAS NOT REALLY THAT GOOD LOOKING (IMHO)

BUT IT WAS FAST.

I can't imagine living in a time where cars were cheap and good looking. Nowadays, you have to pay top dollar for a stylish car to stand out in.
