you didn't read the book? i read your article. interesting how the author agrees that there is plenty of oil, but lack of refining is the cause of the high price. THAT is my point. let's drill domestically, but also we need more refineries.
i also like the part about sensational claims and news worthyness. sound familiar? like man made global warming!

the rich, poor, and middle classes all pay the same % based on purchases. buy more, pay more taxes.
illegals, those working under the table, and the dishonest cannot cheat their taxes.
the poor STILL get earned income and etc.
eliminate(super downsize) the IRS saving tax payers billions!
