Looked at buying a Clio today. Just a bog standard one, but decided against it.

......a boring car - like beauty - is in the eyes of the beholder.........sound familiar?

After a string of cars - Corvette, Porsche, Rx-7, Supra Turbo.....................

I've fallen into the fuel efficiency pocket.............

I'm getting close to hybrid/EV numbers - - - and still am able to use the clutch, synchros and throttle to achieve the good MPG.............

That's good snuff 4me.

Whatever floats your boat as they say. I always drive the best I can afford, I buy quick cars for my own benefit, no one else's, but if they happen to turn a few heads, that's fine by me, especially having been single for a number of years. I was lucky enough to clear my mortgage just before lockdown, so I'm fortunate to be able to run two cars. That may change soon, but I like to make the best of whatever situation I'm in, live for the moment kinda thing, happiness is always temporary.
