The first three years - '55, '56 and '57 - at least to me - were nice looking little cars.
I could not afford ()even used) a T-bird in college (So I got a '57 Ford Sunnier (with the Thunderbird Special 312 cubic inch V-8. I believe this yellow/white convertible was the reason I had no coed issues.
After 100,000 miles I sold it.
And every now and then - on spotting one of these rare cars - a big cloud of nostalgia envelopes me.
