I was looking at a DB9 before the Boxster. I may revisit this idea when it comes to moving the Porsche on. The running costs are high and I feel it's more of a cruiser than a sports car. But the sound of that V12 is alluring to say the least.
One of my favorite memories is following a 365 GTB4 for several miles through Houston, listening to it wind up from each start until we got to a point where he could really take off, listening to it wind up to or close to redline in first and second before it was out of range. A V12 is a beautiful instrument.
