How nothing from land rover ended up on that list is some kind of miracle. They usually have at least 3 models in the top ten most unreliable cars. Strange...

It's an US centric list from Consumers Report. A survey respondent would have to buy a Land Rover before it can get on the list.

While the Corvette remains intact within my memory banks, the reasons for this are divergent.

Mine was a late 1960's convertible. Fast, trouble-free and cool looking.................

but the elephant in the room (memory-wise) remains the price received upon selling.

When I was working in Santa Rosa a friend of mine had a 1971, pre-federal spec Stingray. It was super cool and I loved driving it. 7.3-litre V8 after 2.0-litre four-pot. Amazing.
This is the very car (he had the original wheels safely in his garage).
