It's hard to spend money on anything other than an emergency, huh? And then, you have to pay twice as much... Our expenditures on the wars fall into the emergency category, as may someday our spending on alternative fuels. It does seem like we could have done something more productive with all that money.

Of course, with the halliburton tax break, the people who started won't be the ones paying for it.
