Golf is always a solid choice, although I'm the kind of guy that likes the alternative choice, I strive to be different and prefer rare cars in general. Compared to the 400+ bhp 2.0 litre units now, the gti seems a little underpowered, although they'll always be the R version for those who want ultimate performance.
