Yeah, employers can only pay you what their profits allow. Companies with a monopoly on energy can charge whatever they want. An employee is merely a pawn.

Peakster, I think it'd be cool if we could post mp$ average on our signatures via the gassavers.org image.

For the big picture I think you would need to look at all costs. Price of car, maintenance, insurance, license's, all would be factors.

well figure it out and suggest it mentalic. What area are you from in LA? Really adding all those extra costs into the calculation would be a little difficult to figure. Maybe if you called in fd$ (fuel/distance/$). Showing how much you spend to travel said distance. If you include the cost of the vehicle and such then driving more would indicate a lower mp$ which isn't exactly promoting FE.
