I just read an article in the Dutch press that Ford Europe is starting a special 'econetic' model there based on the 1.6 diesel version. As the article states the 'secret' of spitting out less co2 is:
* improved aerodynamics because of a special bodykit and a general lowering of the car.
* the econetic version has less wide tires
* it uses tarnsmission oil with a lower viscosity
I wonder if Ford Europe has been reading this forum?
