Not in a form that a gearhead would like.
I've heard that Porsche's e-fuel will be $10 a gallon with shipping to Europe. For a weekend fun car, or getting a classic to a show, the higher fuel prices can be bearable with the infrequent use.
It is too much for a daily driver.
But it could be a solution to some of the EV's drawbacks. A PHEV with over 50 miles of EV range will run on just electricity for a lot of people's daily driving. For a long trip or emergency when low of charge, the higher price of e-fuel is affordable. Simply because drivers will be buying far fewer gallons. The trick is getting people to look at how many gallons they use over a month, than at the price of a fill up.
