Cayman GT4

Maybe the best Porsche available at the moment? The 911 is great but perhaps slightly over-evolved to be the lean mean driving machine it used to be?

Anyone who doesn't love driving or sees it as a chore, should drive one of these with a manual gearbox on a nice twisty road. You'll be moved in more than one sense of the word. I'm hopefully test driving another Porsche this weekend, they truly drive like nothing else.

I had a 1975 S for several years, 77-84. My dad bought it new for $14,777.10 and when he got tired of it I got it. I wish I'd kept it but it didn't work well with a new baby. Nothing was as fun to drive.

If you thought that was a fun car, imagine how a new one feels after 50 years of research and development and improvements.

True in a lot of ways I'm sure although in some ways I think the older, leaner ones are the better choice.
