10 absolute fastest Nurburgring lap times

The only thing wrong is they made it 1-10 instead of counting down 10-1.

How about 10:08? In a Ford Transit van.

That's definitely not something I'd want to do but it's interesting.

Would love to go on a big trans Euro road trip to the ring, alot of my friends have done it and say it's a blast. Doesn't really matter what you drive either, anything goes, you'll see anything there from exotic sports cars to commercial vans. Crazy place.

I can't edit my post but I should have said do in a high top van. I'd love to do it in an appropriate (for me) vehicle.

I just googled it. It's kinda far for us Brits who don't move about much, probably nothing if you live in the US. Travelling that distance, I'd have to chose the economy and comfort of my Peugeot. But the boxster would be just as much fun on the track, I just feel it's not as comfortable or refined on long fast paced roads.

Yeah, 634 miles is a bit over 2/3 of the way across Texas. About 880 miles to cross the state. Or for the same 880 miles one can start in Maine and travel in and through a total of 13 states ending in South Carolina.

One of my workmates and I had a trip organised to take his bike down in a trailer. It was only 230 miles after getting the ferry from Rosyth to Zeebrugge. I planned to take a "Taxi" trip around the Ring (about £250) with a professional driver (Sabine Schmitz is one of the drivers) and he would clock up some laps on his bike. That all fell through when he totalled the bike at Knockhill.
