Original Ford Probe concept Cd .152!
I was on Probe website, since my engine is from one, and I found this;
http://www.gminsidenews.com/forums/f...concept-75145/
That's ugly as sin, but very inspiring!
I guess my Coeficient of Drag is about .27-.25 with my mods.
The name (I ALWAYS wondered) comes from being a Probe into aerodynamics!

You selected the link on another forum as if it was text and copypasted it like that. Instead, right-click the link without selecting it, then you'll be able to copy it correctly. Most forums shorten long links by skipping the middle and putting in an ellipsis.

Nice find.
My mom had a 1988 Probe and then a 1992 Probe. The 1988 had electronically adjustable suspension (sport/normal/luxury) as well as a more common normal/power/economy switch for the automatic transmission.

Yeah but while that .152 may be great, what you missed was that that was not for the original Ford Probe Concept, but the fourth version! The Final version of the Ford probe concept achieved a Cd value of .137!!!

Wow. They still can't build a production car with that Cd, even with modern technology.

it isn't really that they can't but that they won't. John Q. Public wouldn't even consider that car. I showed it to my wife and told her I was bidding on it on ebay (yea, I lied) just to see what she would say. her response was something of a dry heave. we have vastly different tastes in cars. I personally would drive it all day long.
the soccer moms and average joes wouldn't want anything to do with it so now all the cars look relatively similar. I saw a commercial for the buick lacross and it was comparing itself to one of the lexus line. they looked strikingly similar. it's bad when that is your marketing pitch. buy ours, it looks like the expensive one...only cheaper.
