Leaving for Florida tomorrow. The only mod that made it on is the air dam. I'm sure that will offset the trailer.
But it's running about as well as a 12 year old minivan can be expected to. Last minute crisis is despite the pumped up tires, the front tires are getting eaten up. Looks like alignment.
Ran 150+ miles today to pick up #1 daughter from her last scout camp. Air dam made a great bulldozer on the gravel road. That's why they don't sell cars with them that low. Saw a tuned sports coupe on the highway that had the same problem...but his air dam was fiberglass instead of rubber and the it left marks, like a shattered front end.
Finally got a chance to calibrate the trip computer. Apparently it reads about 17% high, so the 25.7 mpg I got going to the lake a few weeks back is in reality more like 21.4. Today I got it up to 26.4 indicated. But that is 22 real. Unable to tell if the difference is air dam or driving technique. Too close to tell and a completely different set of roads.
I'll go through 100 or so gallons this week. Aught to be able to calibrate the ScanGauge with that.
