I have seen a 10-13% improvement in mileage (urban & highway) just from this intake modification. I know that there are a lot of people on mileage forums that espouse hot air, under-hood intakes. The CAI approach seems to be working for me. Bman
Maybe your gains are from the pressurization and not the cold air?

a new policy....I intend to ignore the nescient...a waste of time and energy.
Mine hasn't had the factory airdam for over five years, it was pulled off by a marmot we hit on the freeway. I couldn't figure out what it was for after dragging it under the car for 30 miles @ 80 mph. I am glad to know it helped the milage.
This spoiler would have made road. I feel better when I attached the pipe to the radiator and install a new cover between the bottom of the dashboard and front stabilizer bar.
