G-1 aerodynamics

When you drive a vehicle for many miles, even just long segments of driving on a vacation, you get to notice little things like the way the vehicle reacts to wind, buffeting from passing traffic, road crown...all sorts of things.

The other day I noticed something because it was unusual.

65 MPH on an 8-lane freeway and ahead, floating around in the turbulent air of the traffic, a plastic grocery bag.

It hit me inside the headlight at bumper height and.....
zoomed over the front of the hood and closely following the contour of the body and windscreen went over the roof and was gone.

What was unusual was that the bag would have been stuck to the front of the other trucks I've owned.

Good observation. Do you have any aero mods? Grill block?
I look forward to running past light debris on the freeway. Fall is the best season for falling leaves on the roadway,
which reminds me it's almost coroplast season again!
