fender flare question

Hi

I have seen this article: http://insideracingtechnology.com/phnxtrk2.htm
about the nascar aerodynamic, and they are remained hit from this image:

The author write: " A closer look shows an adjustable support for that fender flare. On superspeedways the fenders and wheel cutouts are fitted to the tire very carefully to minimize aerodynamic drag. On shorter tracks like Phoenix the fenders are flared out to produce downforce. If the bodywork behind the tire can be curved so the trailing edge of the tire sticks out away from the sheet metal behind it, the tire becomes a pump pushing air out from under the car increasing downforce on the front of the car. I'd guess the right-front tire, when turned into a corner would pump enough air to make a difference."

This fender flare, if used in an original car modified with an total underbody front cover to pull out the hot air from engine space, with aerodynamic advantage, or it is better an other solution?

It looks like Nascar is using the "tire pump" to suck air out from behind the air dam to increase downforce, especially on turns.

I use a variation of this on my car, but use it to pull hot radiator exhaust air from the engine compartment. Since my car has complete underbody panelling, the radiator air can't exhaust out the bottom of the engine compartment. I vent it out through the drive shaft openings to the front wheel wells where the wheel acts as a squirrel cage blower to suck the air out of the engine compartment. I have front wheel skirts, so all of this air is eventually dumped off the trailing edge of the front tires into the space between my inner and outer side skirts.

thanks for your comment.

actual, your car shape is this?:

if is this the actual shape, how can exit the air? a better solution is an rear gate in the side skirt.
porsche it uses an analogous system:
