Thank you, CO ZX2 ! Whether its hp or fe ,aerodynamics are cross applicable. Yes it does open your eyes to different ideas and that is what is important .

OMG. Going from Cd of 0.497 to 0.201?! And they were also trying to create downforce too, not just streamline it. I wish I had a wind tunnel. And I wish I knew what the other 'tricks' they used were.

CO ZX2: I think the Aerodynamics Discussion forum is just the place to discuss the aerodynamic modifications of a car

Yes, I agree that it is the best place for aero discussion. I was referring to my own post and link to the same Camaro at Bonneville, which tells more about the trials and tribulations encountered while getting the car ready for the Bonneville record runs. Not much about aero in this article but I can tell it has the air dam and such described earlier.

.497? I saw .229. Its not just polution, its a waste of energy. Racing is fun, top speed on my 94 accord was 135 and I hit it one night, hell of a rush. I guess thats cause the fuzz was on my trail, but I shook em.
