You keep mentioning those two cities, you do realise there are more than two cities in Europe right? You do realise some countries get 98% of thier energy from tidal/hydro and wind power? And the country with the biggest share percentage of global electric cars is 2000 times higher than the US's share? You do know France has the same percentage share of electric cars as the US? You need to look at the bigger picture like I keep telling you, not just reading that trash they print in the papers. You seem to have an obsession with tailpipe emissions, do you feel as passionate about the epic amounts of coal power stations in the US? Possibly not.

Sales of VW have risen here, and they recently awarded no less than 8 Awards by a popular uk consumer group, but you're entitled to hate if you want to hate.

NOTE: For the record, NOx is not "Nitrous Oxide".

Nitrous Oxide is the greenhouse gas you use to make horsepower in race cars. It is also used as a mild anesthetic in dental practices, and as a food additive. It is not a pollutant.

NOx is a generic term for describing both Nitric Oxide (NO) and Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2). I think the term you are looking for is "Oxides of Nitrogen".
