Tranny and speedometer

I just found another trans from a cx and was wondering if the speedometer readings will change due to the different transmission and speed sensor in the trans.

The trans speed sensor is usually in the final drive section of the trans- so stock tire size differences between the different models would be the best indicator of whether the speedometer would read differently after a trans swap.

If the stock tires are different sizes here's a link to a tire size calculator so you can see how much it is going to be off.
