Agreed. Size, load, and inflation comparisons depend on all other things being equal. If we start considering different models with different materials, construction techniques, and tread patterns, that throws in far too many variables.

hate to sound like a ney sayer but 40mpg in a jag? I doubt it,
Spotaneagle, While I haven't done a 40MPG tank on my Jag yet, I have done lots of 30mpg+ tanks with a high of 36.4 mpg. Check my garage entries. I have done some modifications: tire pressure to 44psi, upper and lower grille blocks, wheel deflectors, R side mirror delete. I also have A WAI but I haven't seen any gain with it. I don't have a Scangauge but I use the instant MPG function of the trip computer to maximize my driving efforts.
The Jag is a suprisingly efficient car for its weight and luxury features.
I am shooting for a 40 mpg tank, perhaps after I add a belly pan and get some new tires.

well since you're adding more aerodynamics, I think you might be in business

hate to sound like a ney sayer but 40mpg in a jag? I doubt it, unless you do some aero mods,
