A New Moped/Scooter

Mopeds and Scooters often have automatic transimitions, so I stuck this in this catagory...
I thinking of selling my moped, a 1980's Tomos Bullet, and sell my Honda Elite 50, and thru a connection I have, get a brand new Tomos at a greatly discounted price What I'm Looking At is the Tomos Arrow partly because I already have a motorcycle for when I want that look of a motorcycle, and I want the more powerful engine that the scooters have, they all are listed as 100+mpg, very vauge, but then how can you give a solid number on something that it could varry so much dependong on rider weight, and style.

* = all, sorry, one of those computery/slangy things I've just gotten used to.

But anyway, honda is the largest motorcycle manufacturer in the world, and has been for decades. It makes excellent engines for this application...so you ought to be good with a honda.

Yeah, man, that is sweet. How much do they go for? I wish I had a bike for trips up and back, even though I'd be scared on a bike for 350 miles at once...

I have a Honda Elite E (50cc) scooter, it runs great, but the automatic transmition on it is a simple CVT and because it's a belt drive, it robs all the power that the little 50cc engine puts out, I've ridden one of the new Tomos scooters with a 50cc engine, and it takes off like I couldn't belive, even my 25 year old moped has power, and the two speed transmition is gear drive with a two speed automatic clutch, it feels smooth, and has good power.
If I had the money I would get another Honda without the stupid belt drive, but as it is I like Tomos because they've been around about 50 years, and parts are avalible and cheap, that is not so much the case with alot of off brand mopeds, and scooters.
