Wheel skirt ver 1.02 and bling!

I reworked the wheel skirts today for improved aerodynamics. There much tidier than the old ones. The also do not stick out from the car like the old ones. These are good enough to make a decent fiberglass copy of.

Bling

The stickers are homemade. Laser printed label stock covered with 3mil laminate. Will see how they hold up.
I also got the windows tinted and blind spot mirrors.

Looks nice! I just made a set of wheel skirts tonight in the dark, so as you can imagine, they were sloppy as can be.

Luckily they go on a crap car, so the clear packing tape holding them on doesn't look overly tacky! At least I spray painted them the right color.

Nice work!
how did you mount them to the body? Are your body side panels plastic?
My VX needs a pair.

The original wheel skirt construction thread is here. I reworked them to be flatter and snug to the car. I installed fresh coroplast all one piece. They no longer stick from a side profile.

Since adding the stickers the car is getting all kinds of attention everywhere it goes.

Pictures from my wife's trip. 2300 miles, they averaged 41.1mpg driving the speed limit, car was crammed full of stuff. 2 nursing babies, 1 3 year old, 3 cars seats, clothes, etc. You get the idea. The speed limit in montana was 75mph. The rest of the time it was 70mph.
