I just bought a VX and it didn't come with the owners manual. I was wondering if there was a specific VX manual or if htachback buyers in 1992 all got the same manual. That way I know what to look to buy.
Also, does anyone know where to buy a 1992 Service Manual? I have one of these 'bibles' for 1995 but there are differences there (at least as far as the AC system is concerned and possibly other differences as well).
There was a single owner's manual for the entire 1992 Civic line. When describing a feature, it pointed out which models those features that were present in.
Helm, inc. sells reprints of both the owners and service manuals. The owners manual is something like $30, the service manual is around $60.
The service manual can be found online in .pdf form here and there. I'm not sure about it's legal status, but it's out there.
Yeah, the only VX specific "manual" you will get will just be the short glove box book that comes with the car. The Helm's version is the book they use at the dealership written by honda. Chilton and Haynes manuals are helpfully as is the Michell on Demand cd that you can buy on ebay. I have a digital manual I can send you, but its approx. 40 MB.
the CD is nice, I have it, and would put it online if I didn't have dial up, it's the same one as you can currently get on Ebay I'm pretty sure and it was worth it, the owners manual is fun to read, but doesn't have alot of useful information.
I've posted the Helm's manual on the internet at an address that works. PM me if you want the address. kwtorbe and McPatrick check your PMs, I've already sent you the link. I can also post a downloadable 88 crx helm's manual, 92-95 civic helm's manual, 88-91 prelude service manual, and Civic,Crx,DelSol 84-95 Chilton Manual.
