Mine was crushed slightly by the forklift in the salvage yard. I blew it out with some compressed air.

I was wondering if that would affect the pickup position and cause me to run out of gas when the tank level was low.

The dents were in the back of the tank, not too bad, maybe a gallon loss. I might just carry a gallon gas can with me and run it out of fuel completely to see how low it will go without any problem.

Thoughts

gary

What car did the 13.5-gallon fuel tank come from?

Did it require any modification to make it fit the VX?

Does the fuel gauge still work accurately?

-The 13.5 gallon is a civic 92-95 jobber built by Spectrum Premium

-It not require any modification. It?s direct bolt-on

-Fuel Gage still work accurately.

I get now more than 1050km per tank (650 miles)

My only problem that I use EEfuel and it scrap my average fuel economy record. Thats why you see 43.14 mpg for my 90 day fuel economy. My last tank get me 52.48 mpg at 40f and get 651.3 miles with 12.41 gallons.

I can get easyly 700 mile on that tank because you can fill up 13.75 gallon when run out of gas
