The z600 engine is rebuilt, so I'm going to put it into my n600, along with the tachometer from the z600. I'll then put my spare combo-gauge into the z600 with the n600 engine. With any luck it will be very easy. I'll then do some cosmetic touch-ups and try to sell it for at LEAST cost.

Was it you that reupholstered the n600 seats a while back? If so, you are going to have an all around newer car. Too bad your n600 unlike the z600 has slight rust, doesn't it? The hatch on the z600 looks so much cooler than the back of an n600. Please don't chop it, my birthday is january 3rd, not far away at all.
edit: I don't mean to dis the n600, i prefer the side view to that of the z600, that looks like an old datsun z.
And you missed out on this one. totally rusted out and 6 times more money!

Oh offense taken. Different strokes for different folks.
I personally love the n600 style SO much more than the z600 style. Luckily there are people who agree with you so i'll have a few buyers (hopefully).
Yeah, I did redo the interior of my n600 a while back. After I swap the engine I'm probably going to look into painting the car. I need to replace the drivers side fender and the front bumper mounts as well. With any luck this thing will be ready to enter car shows next year.

Aww, no EV roadster for matt,
But SRSLY, the reason I could never get interested in cars like that is because I'd end up wanting one of everything because I could never decide what I liked most,

Very nice. Maybe laser etch two eyes in the hatch on the z600. It looks like a pair of snorkel goggles. I am actually with you on the n600, I just love the hatch on the z600. It just doesn't "jive" with the classy front and datsun z sides. Kind of what makes it interesting though. fresh paint will be nice, and new metal. mmmmm.

Hopefully the pictures of the z600 are accurate and the paint is still all pretty like that. All I'll need is a can of rattle can white for some of the small spots, some clearcoat, and buffing and polishing compound.
