The other day I took the carb apart and cleaned it. putting it back together provided it's own set of problems.

There are four screws holding the carb bowl in place. Only one of them screws tight. The rest keep spinning. Tonight I took the carb off again and removed the lock washers from the screws. Now three of the four screws screw tight.

Can I use something like locktite to fix this?

I started having some serious problems this weekend with the car. Whenever I slowed down or stopped the car would stall. I assumed it was the fuel filter, so I replaced it. I also replaced the fuel line that I have neglected to replace. neither did the trick.

I checked the timing and it is PERFECT.

While putting the carb back on tonight one of the wires on some weird sensor on the carb just broke off. I stripped it and grounded it to a screw nearby. The problem went away. Turns out this may have just been caused by a bad ground, or a ground on it's way out.

Wow. Do you know if the Z has a synchromesh transmission? Does your N have a synchromesh transmission for that matter?

I think it's rust free... I'm paying $500 for it, plus $765 (ARGH!) to ship it here.

I'm hoping I can fix it up a bit and sell it for much more. Hopefully the new owner won't mind that is going to have a sedan engine in it

Is the current engine under its hood from a sedan, or are you swapping the z600 engine into your n600, or something?
