How to get to ECU in Civic VX?

Guys i'm trying to get into ECU but it's all covered with carpet and don't want to rip the carpet apart. What are the steps to get to the ECU without ripping up the carpet.

Pull up the plastic when you open the door. Pull carpet away and there are 4 10mm bolts holding it down. Why are you messing with it?

Thanks Rusty. I just tried. I pulled it out 3/4 out. I thought there was more to it. I'm going to be running wires from ECU (VSS, Injector, ground and positive) for MPGuino ))

Also have to fix A/C cluster lights as bulbs are out so that's next.

A/c cluster is a bear. Whole dash or pull stereo out and wrestle 3 Phillips screws out and back in. Have fun don't break the knobs when pulling them off. I keep those spares in stock. Also make sure to use the blue rubbers on the bulbs. If not it's a little to bright.

Rusty thanks man. I have to get this done in sprint as summer i too hot, fall is too windy and in winter i can't see sh1t without those bulbs to change heating. Needs to be done. I have pictured diagram from honda tech forum. This will be whole day thing from what i've seen from mpguino. It took me whole day and it was suppose to be 2-3 hr project but that's due to some incorrect info.

Sorry to hear that. It's really only an hour at most but a bear. I changed mine in my cx when I had the whole dash out. that's how I know about the blue covers. I didn't have any spares and didn't think it would be a problem. Make sure you use them.
