Fuel injector modification?

Saw this on eBay... the auction specifically mentions the VX, which caught my interest. It seems he refurbishes and modifies fuel injectors for improved FE.

Anyone heard of this?

Re: Fuel injector modification?

It would be nice if someone would buy these babys and report back. They look promising enough; I just don't know how much 4 holes would make any difference... more fuel, maybe. More precise, maybe. Better than stock with 200k, absolutely.

Re: Fuel injector modification?

The idea behind it would be better than the stock injectors. I'm going to ask the seller for the Bosch part number to verify the flow numbers since the VX requires 190cc instead of the standard 240cc injectors found in most of the other Honda motors.

As far as the cost...$148 shipped for four reconditioned, better spray patterned injectors isn't too bad considering it would be about $80+ to have your OEM injectors reconditioned and cleaned. Even then you'd still be stuck with the older spray pattern. A finer mist would lead to better homogenizing and easier combustion for the mixture. Lean mixtures are hard to ignite by nature, so anything to help, would help, lol.

I'll report my findings back here.
